This one’s personal: The founder’s story

Hi, I’m Meenakshi — a website designer, once a graphic designer… and honestly, an overthinker too.

Being a 90’s kid, I remember how gifting used to feel different. We didn’t just buy things — we made them. Greeting cards, little handmade touches… everything had time, effort, and emotion in it. A simple gift never felt “simple” because it carried a part of us.

Today, gifts are still meaningful… but somewhere, that personal touch feels missing. Even when we do something for ourselves, it often lacks that feeling of effort and connection.

That’s why I created Srijan — a space where anyone who wants to put in effort, whether for their relationships or for themselves, can finally have a starting point.

A place where effort becomes visible again. Where relationships feel warmer. And where, through these small acts, we stay present in the lives of the people we care about.
